Louisa Gordon was the daughter of Alexander, 4th Duke of Gordon and wife of Charles, 3rd Earl and 2nd Marquis Cornwallis, the only son of General Charles Cornwallis.

Some natural discolouration due to age and minor staining and foxing around the edges but portrait is largely unmarked. Some minor chips to frame but original backing board and paper still in place.
